Here are some strategies that could be useful to eliminate artificial food colours:

1. Read labels: go for food that uses natural food colouring from fruit or vegetable extracts or look for dye-free versions.

2. Homemade foods: You have all the control when making food. So just look out for alternative ingredients using dye-free or natural food dye when you need to get groceries to make your dishes.

3. Look at whole foods: Whole foods are food that has been processed and removed as little as possible and is free from additives or other artificial substances.

4. Find healthy choices: Limit processed foods. It may be hard as children are used to eating this food but it is not wrong to start somewhere even with little progress. You could talk to your children about food with dyes & why it may not be the best choice for their bodies.
